Convocatory and Squad Overview

The Colombian Football Federation (FCF) announced the 26-man squad that will represent Colombia in the upcoming Copa América tournament. The team, led by manager Néstor Lorenzo, landed in Miami on Tuesday, June 4, to begin preparations for the competition.

Squad Highlights

The squad features a mix of experienced veterans and promising young talents, including:

* Goalkeeper David Ospina, who has over 100 caps for the national team * Defender Yerry Mina, who plays for Everton in the Premier League * Midfielder James Rodríguez, who has played for clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich * Forward Luis Díaz, who is considered one of the brightest prospects in South American football

Tournament Outlook

Colombia is eager to make a strong impact at the Copa América. The team has won the tournament twice, in 2001 and 2007, and is looking to add to its trophy cabinet. Colombia will face Brazil, Argentina, and Chile in Group B, a tough pool but one that they believe they can compete in.

The team's first match is scheduled for June 13 against Brazil, one of the favorites to win the tournament. Colombia will then face Argentina on June 21 and Chile on June 25.
