Beetlejuice 2 Gets a Full Trailer
The long-awaited sequel to the classic comedy is finally here
The trailer features the return of Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice
Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for "Beetlejuice 2", the long-awaited sequel to the classic 1988 comedy. The trailer features the return of Michael Keaton as the titular poltergeist, along with a new cast of characters including Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, and Geena Davis. The film is set 27 years after the events of the first film, and follows Beetlejuice as he tries to help a new family adjust to their haunted home.
The trailer is full of the same dark humor and slapstick comedy that made the first film a hit. Keaton is clearly having a blast playing Beetlejuice again, and the new cast members all seem to be having a lot of fun as well. The film looks like it will be a faithful update to the original, while still bringing something new to the table.
"Beetlejuice 2" is set to be released in theaters on September 6, 2024.
