The Denver Nuggets have advanced to the NBA Finals after sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers in four games. The Nuggets secured the victory with a 126-115 win in Game 4 on Monday night at Ball Arena in Denver.
Nikola Jokic, the reigning MVP, led the Nuggets with a triple-double of 30 points, 21 rebounds, and 12 assists. Jamal Murray added 24 points, while Aaron Gordon contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 30 points and 23 rebounds, while LeBron James had 26 points and 16 assists.
The Nuggets jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and never looked back. They led by 10 points at halftime and extended their lead to 20 points in the third quarter. The Lakers made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Nuggets held on for the victory.
The Nuggets will now face the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, which begin on Thursday, June 1.
